Do not miss this...best MMA inspired action ever
Although inferior to Killzone as a film, this one is not to be missed. Donnie Yen's fight choreography is masterful, it is beautiful yet brutal and realistic at the same time. The final showdown between Yen and Collin Chou is breathtaking. Thanks for bringing this stateside and I hope the bonus features are good enough for me to buy this movie for the third time.

A Must for Action and Martial Arts Fans!
Flash Point balances out great gun battles and fierce MMA styled fight sequences all under 87 minutes. Though there are not as many fights as Kill Zone (SPL), the last bout between Collin Chou and Donnie Yen is worth the price of this DVD alone. The finale ends with such raw intensity, you wonder if Donne and Collin are actually making contact with those punches. An absolute must for anyone's growing martial arts collection. Flash Point and Invisible Target are this years biggest action scores from HK. Look for both under Dragon Dynasty.

Flash point is a very good and also and inprovement expecially for donnie yen, the story line is fantastic.

Perhaps the best example of modern fight choreography ever!
I found the movie to be quite good at building up to the climax, which was straight up one of the best climaxes i've seen in any fight movie. The fight choreography is SICK, and i am eagerly awaiting this to come stateside... BUT: only if it includes the deleted scene of the Triad Brothers' mother walking in during the "break" of the final fight. That scene added more emotional strength to the fight and made me believe Collin Chu could get up and fight the way he did. PLEASE include this!

Absolutely phenomenal!
I saw this movie at the Toronto International Film Festival and it blew me away! I had no doubt that Donnie and Wilson were going to deliver a good film after what they accomplished in SPL, but this went far beyond all of my wildest expectations. The fight scenes had me screaming in excitement and the whole crowd was right along with me. The real contact hits and MMA techniques in this are truly like nothing I have ever seen before. This could usher in a new era of martial arts films, and I'm all for it!
Can't wait to get this on DVD!

The action is creative, realistic, and brutal. Great story, great acting. MMA makes Flash Piont unique. Must see for all Donnie, Collin, and MMA fans.

A good film with some excellent fight scenes. But, I'm not buying anything until Dragon Dynasty starts releasing on Blu Ray (HD).

After hearing that it is a certain spin-off of SPL (KillZone), Wilson Yip Wai Shun has pulled it off with mixing crime drama and pure non-stop action. The slow rising story to the pure end climax is how HK action films are done. Get ready for the biggest overseas punch in the face.

proof of how Chinese r still the innovators of MA flicks!
Donnie yen has done it again, another great action flick with groundbreaking martial art choreography. People have said and argued that it is real difficult to capture MMA moves and elements in a cinematic way. To quote stuntman/
fight choreographer J.J. Perry "i have worked with alot of mma fighters, and they found out the hard way, what works in the ring doesnt always work for camera, to be a fight choreographer, you need to be able to edit, have a working knowledge of cameras lenses, frame rates, shutter speeds,as well as being a well rounded martial artist." Donnie yen had finally figured it out and the result is Flashpoint! I hope to see more martial art scenes like these in the future. I cant wait to get flashpoint on dvd, I Need that in my collection!

Hands down the best MA movie I've seen
This is one of the best Martial Arts films that I've seen. Donnie is one of the greatest and it shows in this movie. The fight scenes are few but great and that's what I love about Wilson and Donnie's movies. Great story with just enough action. Perfect.
