A good package that could have been better
First of all, I love Dragon Dynasty, love Bey Logan, and have always been pleasantly surprised...until now. Instead of the precedent set by Police Story I & II in presenting the orignal Hong Kong cut of the film, SuperCop is presented in its truncated USA release form. To add insult to injury, the alternate HK footage isn't even included in the extras, nor is the original score an audio option. To be fair, Dimension Films may not allow or have access to these elements, but it sure would have been nice. All in all, the film has never looked better, at least the HK undubbed dialog with subtitles is available, but it just leaves me a little bit wanting. On the plus side, the interviews are fantastic, and give a great insight into Jackie and Michelle's recollections of the making of the film. Overall, not a near miss, but a near hit.

Fan-Freaking Tastic!!!!!!! My Favorite Jackie Chan film finally!
I dont mind that it is the US version, and I love the dub of Michelle Yeoh and Jackie's real voices! The sounds are awesome, you feel every punch and kick, none of the chop socky slap sound! PLus the second disc really works well with all the great documentarys and interviews! Thank you Dragon Dynasty!!!!! Bring on "The Killer" and "Supercop 2".
And who else is keen for the Michelle Yeoh film "Wing Chun"?

I remember seeing this when it hit U.S. theaters. I honestly haven't seen it since then, meaning i'm super excited for this dvd! looking foward to the extras too.

This is my favorite Jackie Chan film!! Yuen Wah is such a great baddie in this. And I can't forget the lovely Michelle Yeoh! 10 Stars!!!

jackie's best movie
i was waiting for this one. i have not seen this one in a long time. the movie is a great one and all should buy supercop. this movie will be a big one for my martial arts flims. your be dumb not to pick this one up

One of Jackie's BEST
This movie has amazing fights and stunts, as well as some great physical comedy. The bonus material are way better than the original US release. Can't wait

Amazing Film
This is one of Jackie Chan's best movies. I can't wait for the DD release which should be a vast improvement on the previous American release. Keep up the good work DD.

Dragon Dynasty needs to release Supercop 2 so both of them will be complete! I loved Supercop 2 and I thought Michelle Yeoh was awesome in that movie.

Great and excellent work of the master himself jackie chan and i am big fan since fearless hyena so that says a lot. Bey we are still waiting drunken master 1 and drunken master 2, snake and crane arts of shaolin, the masterpiece young master and fearless hyena, also dragon fist. Please do not forget to give us the directors cut of the korean version for highbinders not the u.s cut messed up version.

The name speaks for itself-SUPER
Supercop is on my top ten favorite action flicks. Jackie is at his prime and his skills, wit and ability to overcome obstacles are crystal clear as he kicks butt and takes names. I can watch this movie over and over without getting bored. Michelle Yeoh is the perfect partner and shes hot like pancakes in a fire. pick this movie up and get ready for a hell of thrill ride. peace- the one arm bater
