excellent
the film is fast paced. great action scenes between the police and the gang.
sammo has a few fights and the final fight is great to watch.
one highlight is the massive shootout next to a building down a alley.

C- Film A+ Entertainment
Dragon Heat may not win any awards in the writing department but it is an extremely entertaining HK action film. Total no brainer. Hollow characters. Terrible melodrama. Wooden acting. Dragon Dynasty has released a very nice DVD here. Fantastic transfer and decent extras. Worth adding to your collection.
Put up the volume and turn your brain off.

Nice movie! Plus, it was really nice to see Sammo Hung again!
I really enjoyed it a lot. This movie could've a lot better, but I liked it. No one messes Sammo Hung and that's for sure.
Also, what does "Heat" has to do with this movie? It has nothing to do with "Heat". So why titles changed? I like "Dragon Squad" better, to be honest.

Interesting idea, bad acting, bad editing
I love you Bey, but this was a pretty bad movie. Yeah, I've seen worse.. but what was with all those annoying intercut shots of the Squad members holding their weapons? Felt like it was trying to cover up or 'spice up' how poor the actual action was. The plot was pretty standard, couldn't find any reason to really care about anyone in particular. Sammo was looking pretty haggard here too, which is weird coming pretty soon off of SPL. I thought Inivisible Target was pretty mediocre, but it was more enjoyable than this was. The only redeemable thing might be Michael's performance. Probably the best in the film. Better luck next time!

Entertaining!
Kind of reminds me of a music video. Movie had a great cast. Bey logan knows whats up with the director. Actors saved the movie, not the director!

the presentation was amazing and the film catchy to people who love the martial arts genre
In order to fully appreciate the film they have to love the fantastical action that only comes with foreign martial arts films. Films like shaolin soccer or dog bite dog which is also a dragon dynasty movie.

Great ideas and characters
I thought it was a well done action movie. There wasn't a lot of martial arts featured in the film and there were way too many bullets flying at almost point blank range. The shoot outs were great but there should have been a higher probability of people getting hit considering they're all professionals. Michael Biehn was very good. I could see alot of spin offs or prequels made because the characters were well done. Lastly, I love a good script and story but this had so much going on that it was difficult to understand at times. All in all I liked the movie and would recommend it.

BRILLIANT ACTION ORIENTATED FILM
a brilliant action packed and well acted film.
with a great surprising turn by michael Biehn.
its a clever well filmed movie with stunning action sequences and some amazing character development - no generic bad for the sake of being bad guys here - i would recommend this film to anyone who wants more than just explosions, because it is a well paced movie that will fill all your requirements for a good film
